SHADOWS OF VALHALLAPrivacy policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
Who we are
Shadows of Valhalla operates this creator-community application. For questions or privacy requests, contact support@shadowsofvalhalla.co.uk.
Information we use
We may use your Google account email address and name, TikTok display name and username, profile image, community role, availability, profile details, battle schedule, poster requests, training activity and messages or notes you submit. Management actions are recorded in an audit log for security and accountability.
Google sign-in data
Google sign-in provides only the basic account information you approve: your verified email address, name and basic profile information. We use it to authenticate you, match you to the profile approved by management and apply the correct permissions. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or password, and we do not sell Google user data.
Why we use information
We use personal information to provide and administer creator and management access, organise battles and poster requests, share training and announcements, keep profiles accurate, prevent unauthorised access and maintain the safety and integrity of the community. Our lawful bases are providing the service you request and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Shadows of Valhalla community.
Sharing and storage
Information is shared only with authorised Shadows of Valhalla users according to their role and with service providers needed to operate the application, including Google for sign-in and OVHcloud for hosting. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. Service providers may process information in other countries subject to their applicable safeguards.
Cookies and security
We use a secure, essential sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Access is protected using HTTPS, role-based permissions and restricted management accounts.
Retention
Account and community records are kept while they are needed for active membership, administration, security or legal requirements. When information is deleted from the live service, encrypted or protected backup copies may remain for up to 30 days before automatic removal.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first at the address above so we can help.
Changes
We may update this policy when the application or our legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its updated date.
